Border Czar Tom Homan was caught by the FBI accepting bribes - on camera - to deliver government contracts in exchange for $50,000 in cash.

Pam Bondi knew.

Kash Patel knew.

Emil Bove knew.

And they made the investigation go away.

A corrupt attempt to conceal brazen graft.

Trump for all his flaws is the only modern day politician who tapped into and convinced a cynical electorate that he actually can turn the aircraft carrier around. Near term Results, even bad ones, are seen as victories against an otherwise entrenched, unmovable State… 2/3

Listening to Gina Raimondo reinforces the truth about Democrats: that they, like any bureaucratic system, are far more about process than outcomes and therefore status quo, not change. 1/3…

Nice to see a smart woman put down a self-important and not terribly bright member of the Senate. The bully did not weather the exchange well.
HAWLEY: Let's see the Trump chart. You don't think it's a little bit anomalous that Trump has so many more nationwide injunctions against him?

KATE SHAW: A very plausible explanation you have to consider is that he's engaged in much more lawless activity than other presidents

Tariffs have been cited on more than 90% of S&P calls so far this earnings season. The term “recession” was mentioned on 44% of calls, compared with less than 3% on those covering the fourth quarter of 2024.

Trump continues his unprecedented hat trick of simultaneously crashing the equities market (risk-on assets) at the same time that he’s trashing the Treasures market (risk-off assets) AND the US Dollar (safe haven assets). Takes a special talent to do that much damage in 80 days.

Trump hat trick: The simultaneous move into negative territory of equities (risk-on assets), US government bonds (risk-off assets), and the dollar (safe haven assets). It takes real talent to trash all three at the same time. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I’m guessing -and hoping- that in response to the unprecedented global capital markets response to ‘liberation day’,TRump will announce a stay on implementation of certain tariffs to ‘enable time for negotiations’ in order to try and stop his self inflicted economic and political hemorrhaging.

Equity markets are overwhelmingly rejecting Trump Admin instance that tariffs translate to political capital and all will be roses in [???] years - after they drag the US economy through the gutter in their effort to de-globalize the G20. Laughable, if it wasn’t so destructive.
