The hot water crust experimentation has begun. I replaced salt with rosemary salt and added just a skosh of sugar. Excellent flavor. The rosemary salt in the crust went very well with the bacon, ham, onion, cheddar quiche.

I picked up quite a bit of DLC for Total Warhammer 3 on sale.
Tried out the Beastmen and I like that play style but, I sort of soft locked myself by putting up a 2nd herdstone that shared bloodgrounds with the first herdstone. So, we doin' a restart.

My wife made sausage pie for dinner and the frozen pie crust wasn't defrosting quickly enough. I whipped up some hot water crust for the first time and it turned out great. It's making me wonder if I find out like minced basil or rosemary in it for some extra flavor. Anyway, good dinner.

Sort of related: Exalted 1e has a bevy of rules for things like disease, starvation, poison, bleeding, etc.
And they're pretty bad if you get hit by them.

The official Power Rangers ttrpg including rules for getting Tetanus is what radicalized me into a deep believer of "Design with Intention."
I know this may come across as unreasonable, but I feel like when I pick up an officially licensed TTRPG adaptation of some piece of media, it shouldn't be a coin toss whether there will be any mechanism for playing as the sorts of characters the game's ostensible source material is actually about.

I love Dan Aykroyd because he has very clearly entered the stage in his life where he is going to make sure everyone knows about his special interests and he has the profile and resources to do it in a high profile manner. You are GOING to hear about rocks, dinosaurs, vodka, and ghosts dammit.
