Nintendo should start manufacturing DS systems again. Reprint old games. Make new games, too. The Switch is popular, but I think a portable system that actually fits in your pocket is something people still want.

Note: this isn’t fraud! It’s accountancy. As I discussed with Newsweek on Wednesday, NVIDIA has likely shipped companies GPUs they can’t install yet due to a lack of finished data centers and power to actually turn them on. Jensen Huang’s multi billion findom operation

Today, I feel like revealing my favorite underappreciated + underrated character from a popular videogame franchise and that's Lineback

Don't know what it is that appeals to me but he's such a dumb, cool, rotten, kiiinda kind hearted but dumb character. Sad he's not that much on anyone's radar much

That much money financing games by actual game developers would have financed 150+ of the highest budget AAA games, and the several orders of magnitude more jobs to produce them. Instead it was burned failing to produce advertiser-safe Second Life.

Also, as the coiner of the term, I should point out again that simply using premade assistance is not asset flipping. That’s when you did *zero* work of your own.

Still, I’d rather someone fully asset flip than use AI. Regurgitative AI is asset flipping’s perverse cousin.

A truly great idea. 10,000 ethical assets freely available.

There’s no excuse for resorting to so-called AI with this and the *many* other assets you can use without resorting to laundered plagiarism.

Support real artists, not con artists.
More coverage of our 10,000 Game Assets Pack, this time on Dexerto. We really do appreciate all the support everyone is giving this - basically it makes the last year of working on it full time worthwhile & spurs us on to create more assets!! www.dexerto.com/gaming/indie... #gamedev #indiedev

I'm sure this will go well
Netflix just sold a game dev studio back to its founders, which is definitely a good sign
"a Warner Bros Discovery spokesperson confirmed the recently-restructured video game division, which includes studios such as Mortal Kombat creator NetherRealm, Batman: Arkham developer Rocksteady, and LEGO custodian TT Games, will be joining Netflix."

By the way, many Citizenship Oath Ceremonies that were canceled in Oct/Nov during the government shutdown still haven’t been rescheduled. Again, they want people to “immigrate the right way,” but they make it nearly impossible to do so. These are people who have passed their citizenship interview.

Game developers were here first. Not executives.

Game developers make games. Not executives.

Game developers have skills & knowledge important to the business. Not executives.

Game developers deserve to keep their jobs. Not executives.

Executives are replaceable. Not game developers.

NEW VIDEO: Big business is a death cult worshipping a many-faced Techno God. In an industry full of takers who want to eradicate the makers, so-called AI promises a nonsensical fantasy where games are made for free and sold to a world of laid off former workers. It is unhinged.

Gotta love how lives are being wrecked, industries are being stripmined, and the world is being torched, just so a few warped executives can tug their milky little twiglets over the impossible fantasy of a world where products are made for free and sold for thousands to unemployed people.
