If Parliament changed a rule they didn't have to change to specifically ban you the day before you were due to turn up to Parliament, you'd think it was targeted, too.

We are losing our common humanity. How hard is it to treat people with kindness and respect?

In response to calls to ban parties from pride for their transphobic politics, I think one thing to make note of is that if you're a politician in a transphobic party, instead of standing at pride you could speak at parliament about the shame the government's failure on trans policy brings you.

Perhaps post-op Trans women should organise a "hog a urinal space" protest day in single sex only provided public restrooms to show the ridiculousness of it all.. It could be combined with a Trans men in the Ladies day too...

So…Police Scotland were out in force yesterday at Waverley Train Station stopping people suspected of being trans and checking their ID. Cis women’ too. No ID? Can’t go in. ‘Women’s Rights’ Gender Critical style. I refuse to believe 99% of British women want JKR Law. @jolyonmaugham.bsky.social

In 1981, the UK Government was dragged kicking and screaming to the European Court of Human Rights and ordered to recognise gay people’s right to live a full and normal life. Sad that this will now have to happen again for trans people. www.humandignitytrust.org./resources/du...

A former civil servant who played a key role in drafting the Equality Act has said the supreme court’s ruling about the legal definition of a woman contradicted the act’s original intentions.

Hmm, not paying £400 for two nights at a hotel in Milton Keynes for the Forever Now festival, sod that. I have a cunning plan instead to stay in Northampton and train it in and out, last train back is around 1am.. 😉
