damn, the margin between the two mayoral candidates is ~100 votes, that means a candidate could easily 5x their margin just by getting people to fix their ballot (either candidate, assuming the rejected ballots are more or less 50/50 for each)
There are 1,700 ballots that need signature confirmation. That is enough to change the election.

was going to post about how i grew up skiing at a state-run mountain and the west coast ticket prices are a shock to me, but actually i checked and that mountain's lift tickets are pretty much the same as the private ones nearby so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe i just never realized skiing is expensive

oof... it appears that Cupples Warehouse (now Stadium Lofts), 1818 Washington, 1901 Washington (Tudor Building) and Paul Brown Lofts, all downtown, have recently ended or are in the process of ending their affordable housing obligations with early LIHTC exits. Several hundred units in all.
LIHTC expirations and early exits already have been a factor in STL City's loss of affordable housing. It's only going to get worse unless we have a robust, actionable plan. This includes alternatives/supplements to LIHTC for production of affordable housing directly serving lower-income residents.
