When I was a child, the novels of Fritz Leiber were way more important to me than The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings. If anything Tolkien was the British Leiber

I collect playing cards so I was excited when I saw there were Frieren cards.
But they are SO ASS.
The royalty for each suit is just the same promo art of one character. The backing is just the same key art using for the anime.
These could have been so good
(There are apparently better ones tho)

I’m starting Vestiges of Grandeur and really digging it so far.
There’s lots of modern Doom mapping sensibility at least in the first area that making it feel a little less like Hexen but I’m still having a lot of fun.
I’ve only just started too so this could change.
