The Butcher of the Forest by @premeemohamed.com is the the kind of book that makes me wish I was better at more succinctly talking about books instead of just a generic “I loved this!”
I did love it though. It evoked a lot of pain and the bittersweet relief following an anxiety attack.

I collect playing cards so I was excited when I saw there were Frieren cards.
But they are SO ASS.
The royalty for each suit is just the same promo art of one character. The backing is just the same key art using for the anime.
These could have been so good
(There are apparently better ones tho)

Found a neat barmat to help keep my counter clean. Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond was my first “good” whiskey and it’s still one of my go-tos.

I’ve been really really picky about vinyl lately but this is absolutely coming home.
Streaming Arrow releases are pretty scant too and they always do a great job. All the Ys and Falcom stuff they’ve done so far has been a real joy.

- Barspoon of vanilla syrup (I used a 2:1)
- 1 dash Angostura + 1 dash orange bitters
- 3/4 oz coffee liqueur
- 2 oz bourbon
+ a squeeze of an orange peel
It’s fine! A sweeter Revolver, which is one of my faves
I’m proud of my little orange twist tho!
