It’s interesting 唔見嘵咯 was used in 粵音指南 “Guide to Cantonese” (first pub. 1895). It was the Cantonese translation of 官話指南 “Guide to Mandarin” (first pub. 1881) which was edited by Japanese translators (吳啟太、鄭永邦) at the Japanese consulate in Beijing for the purpose of learning conversational Chinese

My dad found the booklet from my 1991 aikido group and it is incredible. Let me tell you, the secrets of the Lancashire Aiki-Kai (founded 1965) are not to be trifled with.
