It’s interesting 唔見嘵咯 was used in 粵音指南 “Guide to Cantonese” (first pub. 1895). It was the Cantonese translation of 官話指南 “Guide to Mandarin” (first pub. 1881) which was edited by Japanese translators (吳啟太、鄭永邦) at the Japanese consulate in Beijing for the purpose of learning conversational Chinese

Cause getting jailed for for 2 years 10 months for throwing dog food at a portrait of the king & using "offensive & insulting" words during a protest is harsh. Just one of many cases

A pro-democracy activist has been sentenced to nearly three years in prison for royal defamation after throwing dog food at an image of the King. The activist was later granted bail pending appeal.

The Feb. 13 version of the section now does not mention statehood, saying only that the U.S. "will continue to support Taiwan's meaningful participation in international organizations, including membership where applicable."
