RFK Jr., from the bottom of my heart, fuck you. Signed, a licensed therapist/mother/SSRI user whose kid is perfectly fine.
💊🧵Today’s FDA “hearing” on antidepressants confirmed that RFKJ and his FDA want to limit or even remove access to antidepressants, particularly for pregnant people. The hearing focused on selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) but the MAHA report makes false claims about all antidepressants.

I wonder how many of these MAGA TradCaths went to church yesterday and heard the Parable of the Good Samaritan and if so, how much self-awareness they gathered from it? 🤔

The USCCB pushed Catholics to vote 🗳️ “pro-life”…. But really that only meant against abortion rights….It meant nothing about the dignity of the human or the gospel that Christ taught.

💯💯💯
If only the church could have prevented this by not demagoguing their parishioners about abortion for 40 fucking years while Republicans promised to turn the country into a fucking Dickensian prison.

- civil servant
- veteran
- immigrant
- medically vulnerable
- undernourished
- underrepresented

Pope Leo would be wise if he replaced the entirety of the GOP enablers that is the USCCB. Only then would the Church in America embrace the entirety of Catholic Social Justice.

Well, maybe they shouldn’t have been in bed with the GOP for decades trying to strip rights away from women. They own this. 🙄
INBOX: Archbishop Timothy Broglio, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, condemns the passage of the GOP-led budget bill.

The USCCB was deeply critical of the bill, but stopped short of outright opposing it, citing aspects they liked.

But those aspects were mostly removed/changed.

I’m sure Susan Collins was only allowed to vote no because she’s up for reelection in the midterms, after they determined that they already had enough votes and didn’t need hers.
