It's still driving me round the bend that I have to scroll down to find my place every time I load my posts on here. Surely it doesn't have to be this way!? #BlueskyHelp
Okay, so I know I'm super late to this party but, HOW GOOD IS THE BEAR!? Into series 2 and oh my goodness the episode with Olivia Coleman is the most beautiful episode of TV I've ever watched. Just... wow. 🥹

Calling excel wizards: is there a way to make like a macro thingy that can combine certain data from two different spreadsheets. ie, I want to take a report I run each week (Sparx homework) and add a field from second spreadsheet (admission number) in order to make a mail merge CSV?

So the update to this is Child 3 ended up with a barking cough so we ended up in A&E to confirm and treat for croup. Oh, but it didn't stop there... (1/2)
Child 2 in bed all day yesterday, running VERY hot. Child 3 spent all night burning up also and then throwing up everywhere at midnight. I am not burning up, but I'm certainly feeling burnt out 🫩

To be clear, with oracy I'd be fine with broad outcomes being specified and autonomy for schools to achieve them. It's an important area. But the oracy tail shouldn't wag the subject pedagogy dog.

I know nothing about the traitors TV show, so hope this isn't someone pulling my leg - this is cool. #WhenYouSeeIt

Oh how terrible, I can see why renewables are so unpopular...
Australia has so much electricity from solar power that it is going to start offering free electricity to everyone for at least three hours during the day as the wholesale price of power goes negative

Australia's extensive solar power penetration makes so much energy that the government wants to offer free electricity at peak hours.

Well this Brit enjoyed this short thread about baseball from across the pond
I will not (am unable to) explain this further, but what makes baseball special is that while like most other popular american sports it is metaphorically a "war" it is particularly about surviving an enemy attack.

Reading a first draft of a book (a year before publication!) to give feedback and I'm really annoyed I can't put it on Goodreads. It's like Martin Lewis with the step counting 😂

Watching Mr Lewis freak himself out on New Years Taskmaster by taking his smart watch off and walking around is still my favourite ever Taskmaster moment. This is crazy (in the best way)
Yay. My 10,000 steps a day streak hit 9 years today!(with a frustrating exception after food poisoning on 2 Aug 23). Its an arbitrary but decent target.

My aim this year is for the 1st time to average over 26,000 steps a day. I'm on track for it (well on pavement, road, carpet)

In 2020 we all watched The Social Dilemma. The fictional radicalisation shown seemed a bit contrived. We're now watching it happen in real time to MPs, mainstream media and more thanks to Elon. Get off Twitter.

Parents are visiting today. I just messaged asking how much time we have to scurryfunge. I was told we could "happily scurryfunge till 12". Can one ever 'happily' scurryfunge? 😂
