the US hunt for bin laden literally led to an increase in polio cases in Quetta because their fake vaccine program that was actually an intelligence op got exposed and the local ppl decided all doctors offering them free medical help were sus and there under ulterior motives, these are just facts
the united states used a polio vaccine program to find osama bin laden, got caught, and created justified fear of vaccines in that area and now we as a species have failed to eradicate polio
one of the absolute greatest successes of the anti vax faction since 2020(and yes covid is the great reason here) is managing to get everyone else to flatten discourse of everyone who is hesitant(lots of reasons from history of your people to personal medical history here) into "anti vax"

when i was doing my capstone someone accidentally deleted the full car model right before design review and we all reassembled it and i would not want 99% of people on that team in the government

I find it so frustrating when a speaker introduces someone with a non-English name and precedes it by "I'm going to butcher your name, lmao" as if it was a joke. You cared so little about your guest that you did not take the time to learn how to say their name? And you're bragging about it? 🤨
