my 3-year anniversary of starting testosterone is on friday, i start my next zoo internship on sunday, i got an Official ocd diagnosis earlier this month and am back on meds for the first time in like 7 years, i started keeping pet isopods this month… year is tentatively off to a good start for me

the "esc" key on a keyboard is a holdover from early-'90s personal computers. on some models it would dispense a can of escargot out of one of the unused drive bays. they put it in the corner so you wouldn't press it by accident because you only got three of them. i pushed it once and got grounded

i was only joking. i am aware that the goal lines are one hundred yards apart, given that i’ve been watching football for decades and have made several football documentaries. it was a joke i posted that was just for fun
i've been watching football for decades, i've made several football documentaries, and i still don't really know how many yards are on a football field. obviously there are at least 50. what i keep getting stuck on is that the number on the field goes down after that. i'd guess there are about 100

Our last patient of 2024 was a red-tailed hawk, and our first patient of 2025 a tiny saw-whet owl. More than half of our patients each year are raptors, with the most common admits being bald eagles and great-horned owls.
