SUPERB and angrily unvarnished response, by former BBC chairman, Lord Patten.

People of North Durham! Your MP Luke Akehurst has said, over on the shouty site, that newly-elected NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani's policies would go down like 'a cup of cold sick' with you. Take a look at Mandani's policies attached, and tell me what you think.

Astonishing how headlines are just 'Samir Zitouni' for the name of the guy who saved people during the stabbing incident, and not 'X-Born Samir Zitouni' or 'X-British National Samir Zitouni' like they would if he was the suspect?

It's almost like the race is only important when they want it to be.

Great investigation of the Nazis, racists and criminals mobilising the flag-on-lamp-posts movement. This is the kind of journalism that the national media could and should have conducted:

If Trump finds a constitutional loophole that allows him to run for a third term, that constitutional loophole will also apply to Obama (unless they say that it doesn't apply to black people, or something).

Just saying.

A link to crime statistics in the UK because the chatter on the socials is such that I suspect that a lot of refutation is just about to be needed. I think you can probably find e.g. ten year stats (i.e. from just before Brexit) through this page as well.

I'm jumping on a badwagon here, but this really is the most appalling wu. There's nothing wrong with being connected to nature but I don't believe you can measure it by measuring spirituality.

How many illegal immigrants are there in the UK? When people say 'illegal immigrants' they usually mean asylum seekers. These people are not illegal in any sense at all. They are documented and awating processing.

There are some undocumented immigrants that could be considered 'illegal'. 1/n

Complaining about lack of representation is a brave line for an anti-DEI party to take....

Chasing their own tail.
Danny Kruger just told Nick Robinson that Sarah Pochin’s remarks weren’t racist because she was “driven mad” not by seeing Black and Asian people on TV but by their “over-representation”. Robinson didn’t ask what’s so maddening about over-representation. Is there a rule adverts have to reflect life?

I think Peston should apologise for this outrageous framing. Not a serious show that any of us should be going on until this kind of nonsense stops.
Is the Reform MP who says she’s driven mad by TV adverts full of Black & Asian people a racist or realist? How many migrants would the Tories expel? & should the UK be selling fighter jets to Türkiye?
