authority preempts state attempts to restrict AI outputs or impose specific disclosure requirements. Over time, these agency rules could function as a de facto national framework that overrides state regulations. In short, this executive order overrides state rights in favor of federal control.
Ensuring a National Policy Framework for Artificial Intelligence

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

Corporations and ultra-rich individuals with numerous business interests cannot be trusted to prioritize the public’s right to know over their own bottom lines.

When billionaire conglomerates take control of media, it’s not a win for free speech. It’s a win for oligarchy.
If Paramount is allowed to take over Warner Bros. Discovery, the conservative billionaire Ellison family will control:

Paramount Studios
CBS
CNN
MTV
HBO
Comedy Central
Nickelodeon
Cartoon Network
Warner Bros.
DC Studios
Fandango
New Line Cinema
TNT Sports
TBS

Firing over 100 immigration judges.

Arresting immigrants outside of their immigration hearings.

Pausing asylum decisions.

And now? Cancelling citizenship ceremonies, the final step to becoming a U.S. citizen.

Just remember that Trump never cared about "legal immigration."

What’s happening at the Supreme Court this week is bigger than just one FTC commissioner. The majority seems ready to endorse the “unitary executive” theory, giving Trump the power to purge agency staffers and replace them with loyalists. It’s a frightening prospect we should be paying attention to.

One step might be to use something like an Amber Alert to report possible ICE abductions.

This might eventually compel ICE to acknowledge who they’ve taken but also alert the public to abductions as well as helping find any children now without caregivers.

This comes after Trump made deep cuts to the IRS.

DOJ agents were reportedly also told not to prioritize tax prosecutions.
