Should you toss your plastic kitchen tools for health reasons? Here's the scoop
Some of the microplastics we ingest may come from the kitchen tools we use to prepare what we eat. If you want to reduce your reliance on plastic, here are some ideas.

Donald Trump ordered the Department of Justice to investigate the leading platform through which Democrats raise money for their campaigns. Less that 100 days in, Trump is weaponizing DOJ to prevent his political opponents from funding opposition campaigns.

Where is the outrage?

This is getting fewer headlines than it should. After coming to power promising to help working people, the president is revealing his real priorities by actively making it easier for banks to rip people off.

That's about as horrifying a sentence as has ever been written
So as Justice Sotomayor says, “The implication of the Government’s position is that not only noncitizens but also US citizens could be taken off the streets, forced onto planes, and confined to foreign prisons with no opportunity for redress if judicial review is denied unlawfully before removal"

What I did in my banking career was to project manage new technology implementations, which had to interface with legacy symptoms. You need to understand the legacy system… older coding languages that these “kids” do not know. This spells disaster.
You can't recode what you don't understand. This will be an historic disaster. They need to preserve the existing system at all costs, because they will surely need it. Please stop this!

Many of my elderly neighbors don’t have access to hot or fresh food. Meals on Wheels can’t be delivered this far out and we have no restaurants. Some elderly folks in my community count on the food bank who comes to our town to deliver fresh food.

Those food banks are now losing their funding.
