Thanks for introducing me to the Doorman Fallacy. Easy enough concept, wasn’t aware it had a name.
I don't want a driverless train. There is *zero* gain to removing the driver - the costs to maintain the technology necessary to perform the role will never go down. Meanwhile, we will relearn all of the painful lessons the Doorman Fallacy, but now for train drivers.

Independent of whether the US needs more big ships, the naming is ridiculous. The Orange Felon’s ego is as large as his character is small.
