Thanks for introducing me to the Doorman Fallacy. Easy enough concept, wasn’t aware it had a name.
I don't want a driverless train. There is *zero* gain to removing the driver - the costs to maintain the technology necessary to perform the role will never go down. Meanwhile, we will relearn all of the painful lessons the Doorman Fallacy, but now for train drivers.

I think Lake Erie, in particular has been so high for so long, a little below long term average now looks out of place!

Lake Erie is currently 5” below long term average.
