I am not a parent of a trans child. But I won’t cede conversations about values to right-wing agitators and scolds.
I think it’s the moral responsibility of anyone with an ounce of privilege or position to speak out forcefully for vulnerable people—and against using public policy to bully them.

As the mom of a trans kid, I’d ask that you think about the fact that when you blame support for trans people for the loss of the election - instead of the hate fomented by the $143 million spent on anti-trans ads - you endanger the safety of a whole bunch of innocent people.
