Mostly Arsenal. More Knicks posts than Giants posts. Maybe a little markets/risk arb? I dunno, let’s see how it goes here

Hincapié was brilliant today. Won everything in the air and his front-footedness allowed us to squeeze Spurs really well in the first half. Really impressed with him.

Spurs are set up to play on the counter, but the first big chance on the counter goes Arsenal’s way. A nice start.

What I’d like to see later:

1. A win

THAT’S RIGHT FOLKS I’M BETTER AT THIS THAN BILLY CARPENTER
What I’d like to see later:

1. Press the shit out of them. Lay off Romero, M2M everywhere else, aggressive jumps wide and on their #10
2. Let it rip: test their ability to block shots
3. Fast, grounded switches (followed by underlaps)
4. Back post crosses from the half-space

On Marco van Basten, the demands of modern football, and some specific ways Arsenal can target Spurs.

So the goal the refs allowed was pretty clearly offside, interfering with the keeper’s vision, and then they disallow a perfectly good Forest goal.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Unbelievable decision to disallow that goal. It’s nowhere near Igor Jesus’ arm.

There’s no time that club football fans show their full asses quite like when a player on their team gets injured in an international game

The reason Liverpool aren’t in the title race is because they are not playing like a title contending team, week after week after week
If Arsenal and City take care of business tomorrow I think it’s a 2 horse title race

Amusingly, the NBC lineup graphic described Sunderland as having defenders, defenders and attackers. Likely to be how it plays out…

they must end this game before the daylight savings clock adjustment. nobody knows what will happen if baseball gets into the time shift. we could get stuck in the time wormhole forever

Well I turned on a baseball game for the first time in over a decade and within a couple minutes I almost saw a walk off homer hit by the son of a guy who was in his early 20s the last time I followed the sport closely

Not a coincidence that the Knicks collapsed after this. Brunson stayed on but was ineffective and everything crashed. He should have gone off
Oh, man. Jalen Brunson hurt his groin or hip earlier in the possession and then hurt something else while being guarded by Giannis there. He's struggling to get off the court. Mike Brown called a timeout.
