So here’s my theory:
DOGE is cutting all this “fraud,” but not posting receipts.
At the same time, U.S. is starting a crypto fund.
He is going to put all the money he “cut from the budget” into the crypto fund and then defect to Russia with the only key to the money.
It’s a heist.

i think this is why i get particularly mad at the alt govt accounts and things. They post content just perfectly pitched at people who want to retweet their way to justice, while putting a sheen on it that makes it seem like some kind of actual organizing work is going on when it is very much not.

Being an adjunct is surreal, because, to your students and to many of your colleagues, you are no different than any other faculty member
But, there are moments, some surprising, when your status is unavoidable, and they are always uncomfortable (at least, that is how I tend to find them)
