Bon, chuis là, là. Bilingual disaster. Appalling poet. Slightly more impressive at prose. I do prefer to post on Mastodon or my blog, but I have some old friends here so I make an effort to check in from time to time.
A lot of very educated men in that thread. They all knew. They all know. They do not care.

The strike is not about whether or not you approve of Starbucks coffee. It's about the workers, who like all workers deserve equitable treatment and fair pay. That is the issue. Why bring up your personal feelings about the coffee? Nobody in this conversation cares. Start another thread about it.

Trump is basing his entire presidency, and the right wing bases its current fascist project, on cases like Castle Rock. Because if the government has no duty to protect you from others, it need not protect you from itself.

PS: I can't even begin to speculate why the homophobes got angry at the Very Heterosexual superheroes dating sim game but it's very funny. Is love and sex just gay now? Do we own that?

Turns out Dispatch was actually fun despite the fairly standard heterosexual romance plots, so I didn’t get too bothered in the end, and I am looking forward to playing the last two episodes when they’re released this week. 🧵4/4

Upon talking about it with a friend of mine, turns out he bought the game for the exact same reason as me, thinking it was LGBT+ narrative game similar to a dating sim. (Steam seems to have removed the tag for me, when I went back to get a screenshot of the erroneous tag.) 🧵3/4

The whole thing was a rabbit hole: turns out getting assigned “LGBT+” tags by users is a tactic that homophobic users try to use to sink games by giving them “adult” tags that don’t apply (since homophobes assume even the most innocuous LGBT+ related media is hardcore pornography). 🧵2/4

I swear when I see a big chunk of text or a chapter in italics I have to physically refrain myself from skipping all of it.
