From the Needles District, Island in the Sky appears as a massive, flat-topped mesa dominating the northern horizon. Situated approximately 1,000 feet lower than the mesa, the Needles offers a perspective of a towering, sheer-walled 'island' of rock floating above the surrounding canyons.

Dog’s been limping for a couple of days and I was getting worried because she was lethargic so I just paid £100 for a vet appointment and as soon as she got up on the table she was bouncing around with tail wagging. She’s on dog-friendly anti inflammatories and a snack-ban to lose some weight
