It’s been 13 years since the lives of 20 first-graders were taken at Sandy Hook.
Yet Republicans still refuse to pass the commonsense gun safety laws that would keep other families from living this nightmare.

Sometimes I think about the fact that the longest-serving Republican Speaker of the House in US history, Dennis Hastert, was convicted of sexually abusing teenagers, and the media just totally memory-holed it and no one talks about it now. I meet lots of people who don't know this happened.
Each day, they could just discuss the details of one (1) former Republican who was arrested for sex trafficking, pedophilia, or some related scandal.
If they're going to shut down Congress for this, fill the silence with these news stories. Make it unavoidable.
