Minneapolis, she/her. Lefty Jew, recovering union staff, healthcare nerd, history hobbyist. Tell your dog I said hi. 🍉
At this point they should just let the kids from North High and Spring Lake Park suit up for the next game.
Vikings practicing today without Justin Jefferson, Christian Darrisaw, Donovan Jackson, Dallas Turner or Josh Metellus.

Injury report to come this afternoon.

precisely my thought. the president and his dumbass republican allies put these men and women into harm’s way for a political stunt and look what has happened
Whether this was random street crime or targeted political violence, I think it was bad for the president to unnecessarily put the National Guard in harm’s way like this. They simply don’t need to be there.

What's the grocery store situation out there #Minneapolis? I was traveling and got home at midnight last night, and worked all day today, so I have to go now for our Thanksgiving contributions.

As usual, the people most at risk are often the most generous, the most willing to stand in solidarity with others at risk.
These business owners “were threatened for being immigrants. Now, this Utah restaurant is welcoming all for a free Thanksgiving meal.”

“Annie’s Cafe in Bountiful will open Thanksgiving Day and serve free dinners to ‘anyone in need.’”

On the plus side, there will be plenty of evidence to convict her at the eventual crimes against humanity trial.

Huh, the NYT took a break from dehumanizing trans people to report sorta honestly on Trump’s mental and physical decline.
My theory is that Trump has always used stimulants and they no longer work well enough to mask his cognitive decline and age related problems which were always there www.nytimes.com/2025/11/25/u...

Nativists love to talk about the costs of immigrants, but each ICE agent is making $213,000 in total compensation to destroy our rights, freedoms, families, friendships, neighborhoods, and economies. Worse than a "welfare queen." It'd be better to pay them to stay home.

In case you missed this, the BBC edited a historian's speech about Trump to remove the claim that he's "the most openly corrupt president in US history." This came after Trump had threatened a $1 billion lawsuit.

Elite capitulation continues.

Read all about it here:

Trump Angrily Threatened to Sue BBC. Then Things Took a Darker Turn.
First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

The Trump Admin's assault on working people continues.

They are now trying to restrict student loan assistance for many in critical professions, including nurses.

These Americans provide essential functions for all of us. This attack will make staffing shortages worse & harm everyone.

Certain students may no longer receive the same loan for their studies as what counts as "professional" will determine how much they get.

I want to point out a new resource page on Monarca website.

Small (or large!) businesses can post signs saying ICE/CBP must have a warrant to enter premises.

Also Know Your Rights signs for targeted people.

PDFs of signs and KYR cards. Plaster these puppies everywhere.
