There has never been a clearer signal that America is not a country, it's just a business. And that there are no red lines when there is enough money on the line.

End-stage capitalism knows no bounds in its pursuit and sycophantic courting of power and wealth.

“One mile on a bike is a $.42 economic gain to society, one mile driving is a $.20 loss.”

“Which means that Copenhagen, a city of 1.2 million people, saves $357 million a year on health costs because something like 80% of its population commutes by bike.”

Copenhagen, the bicycle-friendliest place on the planet, publishes a biannual Bicycle Account, and buried in its pages is a rather astonishing fact.

Makes sense. Americans have been consuming superhero, vigilante savior media our entire lives. Consciously or unconsciously, people are looking for a "good" strongman to come in and save them from the current bad strongman.
Everyone seems to be waiting on saviors, messiahs.

This is not a strategy.

Calling someone or something stupid is technically ableism, it's just ableism that slides a lot to the point it's pretty standard. But aside from that, calling something stupid is not a legitimate or valid way to disparage a person or idea, it's just name calling. @knilirabaj.bsky.social
