Really good interview w/ @mehdirhasan.bsky.social , who in addition to the points he made about appearing on Jubilee, reiterated that US journalists as a whole are far too deferential to politicians and those in power. People here do not listen to answers closely and ask follow ups nearly enough.

Today I had an amazing day. Students with multiple religions, languages, and cultures came together in JOY (a bad word now?) to share their mother tongue and teach each other about their language. Every 'evil' culture was represented. And there was laughter. Connection. Learning. What rebels.
