🔶️🇪🇺 Classicist turned 🇬🇧 military officer(Retired). Living in Georgia🇬🇪 writing book on Russian New Generation Warfare in 🇬🇪. Slava Ukraini!
Thought for a moment I was reading a real post by a notorious UK 'useful idiot' who sometimes works in Georgia🇬🇪!
OTD in 2003 CIA & Soros staged Rose Revolution in Georgia. A gay, fascist, russophobic pogrom which eventually caused Georgia to invade itself with Russian soldiers cos Russia is peaceful country surrounded by ceasefires.

Utterly nauseated by these posts from the EUMM. Brainwashed institutionally by brilliant GRU Psyops campaign, into a groupthink swallowing the Russian black propagranda, & that we now have a frozen conflict: minds closed to reality of Effects-based Continuation War!

There's currently a protest march in Zugdidi, Samegrelo. Zugdidi is quite likely the most consistently anti-GD and pro-European opposition city in Georgia, and elections there were profoundly manipulated if not outright rigged likely the entirety of the GD rule. #GeorgiaProtests

Well, WW3 began in 2008 with Russia’s invasion of Georgia 🇬🇪, a turning point in global instability.

It marked the resurgence of imperialism, set the stage for Crimea 🇺🇦 and Ukraine 🇺🇦 , and reignited a battle between authoritarianism and democracy that divides the world today.

On this day 21 years ago, the Rose Revolution happened.
In my opinion, its biggest achievement is having raised a free, European youth in a post-Soviet country.
And 21 years later, we are facing the final to-be-or-not-to-be with the counter-revolution, the Russian revanche.

The Russian regime in Georgia, their total moral corruption, has been deeply entrenched in this struggling post-Soviet society. We are only discovering the extent of it.
I still hope that there’s “just enough virtue in this republic to save it,” as William Seward would say.

Yes. Basically, what Europe should have been doing for several years; but starting now would be better than starting later.
The best thing to do is to ignore all the talk of ceasefires and peace deals and prepare for a scenario in which Europe has to support Ukraine alone in a war that continues for a long time.

I'd like to clarify a matter which has manifested itself.
Myself, I'm a UK monarchist, although being Scot, I have a strong Jacobite streak in me.
Please note, even if you are a UK republican, that there has not been a 'King (or Queen) of England' since the Act of Union of 1707.
