Give Hungary the boot already. It's high time for them to get to the FO phase already.
Pro-Russian Hungarian PM Orban is currently the ONLY European leader who did not support Zelensky after his meeting with Trump.

Trump thinks he humiliated Zelensky. He humiliated the United States of America. And he made the world a much more dangerous place. Mob boss foreign policy will not work. The Trump-Putin axis fully came out of the closet today.

On the day of russian invasion of Ukraine, 3 years ago, a big march of support is going on in Tbilisi.

It started from the Ukrainian embassy and is moving towards the daily protest location infront of the parliament.

On the way, people stopped at the Taras Shevchenko statue.

Georgia's self-proclaimed government, the Georgian Dream Party, is illegitimate.

In a resolution, MEPs called on the international community to join the boycott of the self-proclaimed authorities, who they accuse of eroding the country’s democracy & cracking down on dissents.

Day 78 - and the protests are still going strong.

Major protests are planned on the 15th and the 18th.

Georgia is being Stalinized. If it becomes a second Belarus, that would be a huge and unaffordable blow to Europe.

Sorry for my french but these fuckers are all in.
Hans is a great person and friend of Georgia, who if you’d know him? never even harmed a fly.

Marches won’t solve anything - the only way forward seems to be the violent one.
Three police people & translator came to my door an hour ago to give me 5.000 GEL (approx $1.800) fine for standing ("blocking traffic") in totally peaceful protest w thousands of good people yesterday.

Opera singer Paata Burchuladze also fined today.

For Georgian Dream, "traditional values" means that stupid men can live out their violent fantasies.

We see this in action practically every day.
Police have violently disrupted a demonstration by journalists in support of Batumlebi and Netgazeti founder Mzia Amaghlobeli who faces 4-7 years in prison for slapping a police officer, which many claim is a wildly disproportionate sentence. She has been on hunger strike for 24 days.

Savages. This is what we are up against in Georgia.

Do not mistake our struggle for your average hand holding demonstration in some safe European country.
Zurab Shonia, beaten on February 2 by the regime police. As friends tell me, it was Zurab who was personally beaten by the violent special forces head “Khareba” in a famous video below. #terrorinGeorgia #GeorgiaProtests

The brutal crackdown on peaceful protesters, journalists and politicians tonight in Tbilisi is unacceptable.

Georgia falls short of any expectation from a candidate country.

The EU stands with the people of Georgia in their fight for freedom and democracy.

For his significant contribution to strengthening & protecting national security, he was awarded (posthumously) the highest award of the MIU of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

When a government is morphing openly and brazenly into a full blown dictatorship, restricting freedom of speech, physically assaulting kids, women and elderly and detaining critical voices - the response from the people will only be one:

‼️🇭🇺🇬🇪 Details are still emerging about how Viktor Orbán's government meddled in Georgia's election. His campaign strategists aided the ruling party, while underlings, like MEP András László from Orbán's party (on this video), served as fake election observers to whitewash the rigged vote. 1/5

Sanctions against the Georgian Dream regime pillars, including their economic tentacles, is due as soon as possible. It might be too late in a couple of months, considering the very rapidly consolidating dynamic of the dictatorship.
