The problem with that is, that all sizable parties don’t really seem to have a clear political compass. It mostly feels like plain populism, packaged in different flavours.

Plus, the right vs left culture war was imported before a defined right/left could even be formed…

After over 14km, the march from the city entrance finally made it to Rustaveli Avenue, which was already closed down by other protesters shortly before.

I’m proud of my people. It’s not an easy fight - as those that are worth fighting aren’t. But we have shown grit and tenacity. And we’ll prevail!

Several kilometers further, along Tbilisis main river, arrests were renewed. One of the arrested is former director of Georgia’s National Bank, Giorgi Kadagidze.
