The NYT, WaPo, LAT, CNN, etc etc have shifted to the right. Fox & the Post et al have always been hard right. Twitter & Meta are controlled by right wingers. On a daily basis, millions of Americans - probably the majority - see nothing but sanitized, accomodationist, right wing coverage of Trump.

Just had to deal with my first ignorant left progressive on here claiming not voting is the best choice. I have my issues with the Democrats and I wish we had better choices but those who did not vote because they thought they knew better on things than experts are as much to blame as the GOP

I think the entire construct of alpha males and beta males is deeply stupid, totally contradictory to the science and a way for stunted men to make sense of the world.

Right, it’s totally fine that Dems want to talk about eggs a little. But what we’re seeing instead is the collapse of America into authoritarianism, while Democrats… obsess over the most mundane issue imaginable, because in their heads it checks all the boxes that make it safe to care about
The issue is that the Dems are hanging onto egg prices like it’s the freaking holy Grail. They don’t realize that they can set the narrative like the Republicans did with inflation. They are always a step behind except for a few leaders like AOC. The Dems are embarrassing, cringe, and unprepared
