The last time I called #DnD "complicated" in a video, somebody said I was wrong and cited a mechanic that the designers had since removed because they thought it was too complicated.

I've seen game designers proclaim that #Daggerheart is not simply " #DnD but different" & players that say DH finally clicked💡 once they stopped thinking of it like that.
Conversely, I have a Reddit post full of essay responses saying why that's wrong.
