Back when u could smoke in restaurants, I knew 2 servers who would compete to see who could steal the most lighters right off the diner’s tables. The sheer audacity.
So if u ever thought u were losing ur mind back then when u couldn’t find ur lighter, a ploy like this may have been the reason.
