Love is Blind should be called Dating is Blind, and it would still be a dramatic/entertaining show without the obligatory engagement & proposal. Sounds like way less pressure and way more fun, imo.

With the tragic assassination of a Minnesota Democratic leader, I’m going to underline this point again.
I know there's a lot going on, but the Secretary of Homeland Security declaring that federal troops are in California and Los Angeles to "liberate" the state and city from its duly-elected leaders really is a fourteen-alarm fire.

I am done being sad about anti-DEI measures & am solidly back in the succeeding-by-spite mode.
It got me through undergrad, & grad school, & my postdoc & my first asst prof position. Want me to jump through hoops for funding? Fine. I'll jump over the hoops & teach the next gen how to do it too.
