He/Him or They/Them
Oh, so *that’s* what that is. I’m used to sitting through ads going back to the broadcast TV era, but a pause looks like the app or browser tab has become unresponsive so I just force quit then go elsewhere.

Gosh, making Director's Commentary a "digital-only exclusive" is SUCH a bummer.

We want it on our physical media! Half of why we buy physical media is for the extras!

I am always surprised when I see a corporation totally misunderstand their customer base and market.

Which is just sad since I’ve seen it from the inside.

Just had an experience on a site where the ad popups kept appearing over the popup where I agree to let them feed me cookies. I never got past it, finally gave up.

Oh well, no loss.

Yale, 1959, the New Haven police attempting to disperse University students chanting “Cops go home” after a St Patrick’s Day parade. The guardians of law & order then charged the protesters & arrested 16 of them. Dig into the period’s archives & the supposed stable 1950s sometimes seem anything but.

Oh magic genie, I wish that I never again had to state that if I like something it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good, just that I like it.

An unfinished bit of work of Eric’s where we get a hint of what Batgirl would have looked like in Cosmic Adventures. Truthfully, if we had continued, Robin was much more likely to appear. Batgirl is lower on my list of “want to write” characters.

Now that all the mobile phone carriers have eliminated their SMTP-to-SMS gateways I need to find another solution.

I guess pagers are still a thing?

Given the things I collect if I were the BBEG in a D&D campaign I’m sure when I was finally defeated by the brave and valiant team of adventurers and they started to loot my horde there would be plenty of “WTF is this crap, they thought this was valuable? Where’s the gold?” chatter going on.

More than 40 percent of New York City mayoral candidate Andrew Cuomo’s top endorsements by elected officials have come from people who publicly condemned him four years ago, a POLITICO review found.
Former critics who once demanded Cuomo resign are now endorsing him
A POLITICO review of Cuomo’s touted endorsers found that few of them stood by him in 2021.
