We’re back!

After an extended break we’re coming in with a mini-sode to discuss our visit to the Mobile Criterion Closet that was part of this year’s TIFF!

this broke both of our brains and we cannot tell why people aren't talking about this all the time
Repo Man and Paris, Texas are both movies from 1984 starring Harry Dean Stanton with cinematography by Robby Muller. My autism just thought you should all know

After you've watched REPO MAN and listened to our ep on it, definitely check out WALKER.

Wildly different magnitudes of budget; incredibly straight throughline of narrative and filmmaking. Absolutely bonkers film.
Saw Alex Cox's WALKER for the first time yesterday and it blew me away.

A career-destroying, ambitious, fiery indictment of manifest destiny and the imperial machine, executed as a surreal (i'd say terry gilliam-esque) acid western. So many squibs. Ed Harris is incredible as Walker. Watch this!!!!
