It’s 49 degrees outside and Mr Softy is still going strong. This has to be a bit!
There’s gotta be some bizarre back story to the guy driving the Mr Softy truck through my neighborhood in late November, right? Like a guy who has to justify buying it while on a multi-day bender? Or maybe he made a bet one night at a bar?

The Internet truly is a wild place. The kid who sat behind me in AP French and my college era bandmate are teaming up as they expose grifters. It is beautiful to watch.

Probably the same reason UPS is cutting ties with Amazon (high volume, no margin)
🚨SCOOP: Amazon is preparing to sever ties with USPS and expand its shipping network as a true coast-to-coast rival.

It could cost USPS more than *$6 billion* a year in lost revenue, and lead Amazon to dominate yet another facet of the economy.

USPS posted a *$9 billion* loss in 2025.
Amazon explores cutting ties with USPS, building its own delivery network
Amazon looks into expanding its nationwide delivery network and giving up its longstanding partnership with the U.S. Postal Service.

State run camps for the unhoused is a predictable outcome of the Supreme Court’s horrific Grants Pass decision last year.

And yes, the abominable radical centrism of NYTimes headlines endures, sadly.

Doing a real life interpretation of The Music Man
Traveling to the real America, doing a racism, running up a massive tab, and then skipping town is not just a Young Republican thing
Oh man, the New York Young Republicans implicated in the Nazi groupchat scandal ran up a $23,000 tab eating filet mignon and drinking at a hotel in Syracuse -- a city with one of the highest child poverty rates *in the nation* -- and then refused to pay the bill.

These are just the same bros (prob worse TBH) who hung out outside Wawa in high school. Now we're paying them to do it.

I uncovered a recording of a conversation between my aunt and my late grandmother, and it's so deeply meaningful to hear her Outer Borough Jewish accent as it was in the late 1970s. Each word, each inflection in her voice carries so much weight. AI can never replace this experience.
The horror of fabricating fake footage via AI of someone else's deceased parent is beyond the pale. Literally creating a false artifact to dilute their actual legacy.
