2025 was a rough year for me.

And that's Blood Omen 2 completed.
A flawed game, but a fun one nonetheless. And the only real chance to play as pre-evolution Kain in a 3D game.
I actually love a lot about this game, despite its obvious shortcomings. Not the least of which is the setting itself.

The Soul Reaver remaster has me in a big Legacy of Kain mood, one of my favorite franchises of all time.

This was definitely the year of Atlus. From Persona 3 Reload straight into Metaphor Refantazio.
Been a good year for JRPGs for me.
Almost done with Metaphor! Then I have to figure out what's next.

It's been almost a year since I started working in property management. That's crazy to me. It feels like it's been 2 months.
Man it's been a wild ride but this looks to be the big career I finally settle on. I'm good at it, I enjoy it (mostly), the commission and benefits are solid.

I stayed up until 4 in the morning to do it, but that's a wrap on Episode Aigis. A whole lot of grinding for an admittedly solid finale. Just wish the journey there was a little less tedious.
Still, it had some great character moments and provided nice closure.

It's... Pretty grindy. If they wanted to capture being stuck in a time loop via gameplay they succeeded. It's very repetitive and grindy.

Im gonna say it again: music is VITAL to games. Music guides players. Music enhances emotional moments. Music is so so so important. Funny enough video games are modern operas in the way music is needed to buoy the emotional stakes.

Going to be a pain restarting but it's gonna be worth it I think. I miss fun conversations without bots and hatemongers.
