If I'm following you again over here at BlueSky, that's because my Twitter account isn't accessible to me (it got locked the other day)

Unless I get access to it, then I'll be over here from now on

Feel free to follow back again, if you want😉

Not sure when/if I'll get access again
Iron Clad & Crossed Swords II could be options too (both Neo Geo CD exclusives)

I know Iron Clad made its way to the Wii VC, so SNK has a build of the game that works independent of the Neo Geo CD

So Hamster would have to do a little work, but it wouldn't be too difficult for them to add those two

Pokémon Legends: Arceus mini-review thread

Minor gameplay spoilers (no story) to discuss game mechanics

Consider this a warning

As I mentioned in my PLZA review a few weeks ago, I've been playing through all of the NSW1 mainline pokemon games over the last 1-2 years, but with a focus on

I do have a Pokémon Legends: Arceus review mini thread coming soon, finished it up earlier this week, will share my thoughts & how it compares to Pokémon Legends Z-A when I get some free time
November 29, 2025 at 11:51 PM
That thread was a ****ing landmine, wth, I wasn't defending Google's choices at all here

People getting mad because I called them out for their laziness/disinterest

I don't understand, I don't see anyone out actively looking to buy a non-updated Stadia controller, so why all of the anger over
November 29, 2025 at 11:37 PM
Looking at more reviews, even users rate this 5/6 out of 10, critics are the SAME

I dunno even why Arc Sys put money into this, I'd recommend buying Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics instead, lots of quality in there, more games, better value

A few data points

You can see N64 & GC were most popular in America

EU was a PS1 focused area & did much better in Asia/JPN as well

When you see N64 'love posts' it's mostly children/pre-teens that grew up & who had N64 as their 1st system

GC followed the same trend (w/sales globally)

My Top 8 - N64 titles

(my list won't mostly mirror most common best of lists) in alphabetic order

Beetle Adventure Racing*
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Hybrid Heaven
Mario Kart 64
Mischief Makers
Rocket: Robot on Wheels
Sin and Punishment
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire*
(*added these to fill the list)
so you won't find much N64 love here, I enjoyed the GC so much more

Seems the Nintendo systems I like the best are the ones that the general population ignored or comes back to later & says they're hidden masterpieces or something

Because they were too blinded by the systems failures

Me: Really🤨😂

Even though I own ~60 N64 games, it only had a very small handful of really good exclusives 1st/3rd party, since the library was so small WW

But the controller & how they handled the memory / rumble pak was just so janky

The extra RAM cart made games play in hi-res, but completely killed the FPS
Something we totally agree on, I dunno why GC gets a bad rap when N64 had such a small/terrible library & GC has a very strong 1st/3rd party lineup (w/SW 388 vs 651) a better controller & everything isn't a blurry mess

I've owned a N64 since DK64 but PS1 was always so much better

Game is awesome, but gets extremely tough in the later stages to get Gold gems (you only get these by doing a perfect in a level and not getting hit)

So for boss battles it's nearly impossible w/o a ton of replays, you need 50 gold gems to see the true ending (as the gems count down)
The Who's Who of Mischief Makers. What a cute intermission screen and character artwork. 💜

Still don't understand why they're making this

Only justification I can find in GKCs, if and ONLY if they're cheaper than the digital version

Only you get less convenience having to put the game in, if you're too lazy & that bothers you

And yes, right now this is CHEAPER than the EShop version

When your dev team is made up of Mega Man vets, the game is basically MM2 w/Scrooge McDuck

So it was a recipe for win

Also 90's era Disney games are still top tier, the later Virgin Interactive titles are hit or miss, Capcom & Sega did the best ones

See a lot of complaints about this, is it good? No

However, the OG discs are STILL available to buy, so go buy them!

I never get the anger over physical media that exists (is fairly inexpensive, in this case) when a game is delisted digitally

If you buy digital ONLY this is on you for not buying

I've posted about how Elevation Partners (U2's Bono was a member) bought Pandemic & Bioware, which led to them being 'acquired' by EA a few years later

Because they wanted their money back from the studios (they had to maintain that 14-15% yearly payout to investors)

& now EA got bought out too
"purchased by private equity in September"

Didn't take them long before gutting things & wanting a return on their investment

Gotta love 'angel investors', starting to think they're even worse than loan sharks.

They bought their independence, but at what cost (CH investment money)

If they don't stay profitable for their investors, then they'll be closed (who expect a return)

Seems like out of the frying pan & into the fire

Plus they don't keep any IP in the deal, so all brand new games to create/launch😐

Shame Level 5 didn't have more faith in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, it got a 35 / 40, which is very impressive

But digital only, so I'll be waiting on a sale for it (and this is from a non-soccer/football fan) even though I know it's an RPG, but sports themed

You're literally paying just for the DLC, they haven't discounted it on PSN since release

It this was cheaper than the online version, it would be worth it, I guess if you don't have the base game this is a good deal, but otherwise, it's a hold out for a deal...someday
