The Magical Quest got two 16-bit sequels on the Super NES and Super Famicom, and then got rereleases (now with consistent naming) on the Game Boy Advance.

That's awesome
I made a River City Ransom card. I wanted to test out using clear parts. Opening the card tosses the crate, done by using a swing mechanic.

I miss when PC monitors had a visibly huge power button. With most modern monitors I always have to slide my finger and touch like 3 different spots before I find the esthetically hidden power button.

I finally uploaded the 2400dpi scans I just made a little while ago of a mini playing card set that was an insert in Wanpakku Comic's 1987 February issue. It features art from most of their series, including #Mario #Zelda #MursameCastle #Metroid #Layla and more: archive.org/details/zine...

Good morning

You can see Karnov in the background of the Neo-Geo arcade game Street Hoop. This is a really cool arcade basketball game (multiplayer on Fightcade), so be sure to add it to your #Karnovember rotation!

Karnov's fit is pretty slick here. I can't get over how he made himself a jersey.

Pixel perfect, baby!
When it comes to playing classic 2d games, do you prefer using scanlines, filters, or unaltered pixels?

People are reeeeally eager for that distopia, aren't they?

Right now it's just a chat, but eventually it's going to be a full bodied blonde blue-eyed Jesus telling people he loves automatic weapons, hate non-white people and vote for the next pedo president.

And people are going to believe it.

So I think a reason why Metroid usually ends up a mess writing-wise is because nobody really knows who Samus IS -- myself included.

I recently re-posted and added to an article I wrote for USG. There are many versions of Samus, and this interpretation is my fav.

Need some help with a project:

Anyone has game/rom hacking knowledge to be able to extract a script from a SNES game?

A couple of us are trying to get all the endings to Air Strike Patrol (SNES), but no one knows how many it has. So far we've found 7, but there might be more.

Damn you. Can't unsee now.
Misread sprites in video games. This is Wang with his bo staff in Yie Ar Kung Fu (MSX/Famicom), or as I've always seen him: a big head with legs!

I genuinely think that people who pass on Majora's Mask are missing a unique and fulfilling Zelda experience.
If their excuse is the time limit,
1. it's NOT JUST three days
2. sure, each loop resets, but you can slow down time with a song
3. it's more rewarding when you accomplish each task in time.

Yuichi Toyama: "At the time, we were developing “ALESTE 2” for the Mega Drive, but it wasn't a port of the MSX2 ver.—it was a completely different game. We pitched that game to SEGA, but the project couldn't get started. So we pivoted and took it to another publisher, and the result was “MUSHA."
