If I'm following you again over here at BlueSky, that's because my Twitter account isn't accessible to me (it got locked the other day)

Unless I get access to it, then I'll be over here from now on

Feel free to follow back again, if you want😉

Not sure when/if I'll get access again
Some of my packages handled by USPS travel the country more than I do was 10 miles away, sent back upstate, then it finally back down here

Why do they do that?

A lesson on how NOT to release an in-demand game by Gung-Ho

For those who forget, the release was sold out for the 1st two months until they finally printed enough to meet demand

Apparently they didn't learn when they did the Trails remake, but they did a little better

These are the console versions, btw

The older NSW1 release Snow Bros. Nick & Tom Special is essentially the Arcade version for those wondering why there were two versions of these games

There's also Snow Bros. Wonderland which is a 3d remake, not the same single screen gameplay of the originals

Been seeing a lot of splitting hairs with the GKC situation

But it seems Nintendo is not following any 'rules' of what's considered 1st/2nd/3rd party to them

If the new Hyrule Warriors got all on cart, but developed by Koei Tecmo, it's 1st party

Since this is Koei Tecmo for Pokopia & Pokemon Co.

Done & done.😅

However w/creating Vantage Studios (w/Tencent) we don't know if they were looking for a complete buyout (since that deal was to protect from a hostile takeover)

With all of the backroom deals they do w/different governments to secure financing (See: skull and bones) who knows where
Yes, this could imply an acquisition of sorts. Could also imply some accounting / financial issue.

Just remember to freak the fuck out for the next few days and speculate as much as possible until they announce something.

Digital Foundry did a 'hands-on' with it, came away w/favorable impressions. (yes, even with the controller)

Is it perfect? No, but it's a good attempt (summation from their video)

The only interest I'd have in something like this is to play my Steam games I've accumulated through Humble Bundle over the years since I'm not installing Steam on my PC

Also, curious what games this can play (aka hardware taxing/intensive)

Also, I can already imagine the price 😐😔
Steam Frame, Steam Controller, Steam Machine announcement is expected soon, here's a first look!

Buried the lead here, it's also coming to PS5 physically (not mentioned in the headline) on the same day and date

PA must be taking hits financially since they quit doing free shipping to do this (they'll have to eat S&H as a loss)....oh well

They're a last resort for me now after the last order & how they only ship items when all available (aka they do NOT pull from available stock & oversell product)

You gotta entice that younger generation who only wants to play on mobile to play on a console = more money

Simple strategy
Fortnite cosmetics will forever be bundled with a console until the end of time.
November 12, 2025 at 5:26 PM
I'm not interested or going to play it, but at least they're keeping the IP in front of people

Also, this is a 'hook' game to get the younger generation into R&C and then they want to play the REAL games that are on PS5

Same as Nintendo w/Mario & Fire Emblem mobile games

Man, these 2D belt action scrollers just don't transition well to 3D very well

They look stiff & slow compared to the excellent 2D games like TMNT: Shredders Revenge & Streets of Rage 4

I know there's some good ones out there, but the limited budgets & skills of the dev teams aren't helping things

I wasn't expecting an HD-2D looking / 3d Dot Game Heroes type game to come from anyone but Square-Enix

This is on my radar, looks like a physical w/Eng is coming via the Asia release, possibly the JPN version too?

Glad this is coming to console & getting a physical release, I was hoping it wasn't going to be deadlocked on Steam for eternity

Same for Tokyo Xtreme Racer, I can understand beta testing & early access, just don't leave console players out & especially skip the physical editions of these titles

Between Sony & Nintendo releasing region locked JPN-only systems, it's a trend I don't care for since we've had 3 generations of PS & 2 Nintendo systems that have had the ability to be region free

THIS was & still is the bane of having older systems & trying to import games to play on them

Been seeing comments like these being parroted around as well on SM

Also, Nintendo did have unified accounts during the WiiU/3DS era, they just chose to **** them away in favor of the NSW1/2 Eshop

We don't know if the system AFTER the NSW2 will use the current Eshop (probably will)

But the point
November 11, 2025 at 7:41 PM
Nice Fake😉

This was never released (beware of copies posted online)

Unless you count the cases & steelbook for PS5...oh wait those are fake too (PS5 has UPC for Spider-Man Miles Morales)

Tango has never used that logo on any officially released game they put out for sale.
November 11, 2025 at 7:24 PM
Didn't know Nintendo posted an official PSA on their YT channel explaining the 'benefits' and usage of GKC

The comments are worth it alone, thankfully most of the people out there aren't being quiet about this just yet.

Nintendo is doubling down on pushing GKC

As we've seen, there's push back fatigue on certain NSW2 titles (PLZA & DQ 1&2)

The BIG test will be a NSW2 exclusive that's only GKC, will people buy it, go digital only or skip it?

People aren't patient, so I don't expect it to end well for physical
Pokemon Pokopia JPN website confirms it is a key card www.pokemon.co.jp/ex/pocoapoke...
November 11, 2025 at 6:42 PM
I honestly thought this was a B-tier title & was releasing digital only

For it to be physical (well, they tried anyway...) & this expensive, come on now

I fully expect sales to be underwhelming here

If I'm wrong, time to rethink things (or try & understand today's gamers better, if I have too...)

And still the same crap split of revenue share as Humble😐😔

Why mention it benefits charities if you can't give them all of the money?

They're literally getting 5% (based on the $20 payment)

I'll sit back & wait to see if they're running this to sell it (yet again) like Humble & start a new one🤔🤨
November 11, 2025 at 6:29 PM
Interesting list, Monster Hunter, RE, DMC top the list, but as you approach ~50, you start seeing older favorites

Also, Mega Man 11 is the best selling single game, however MM2 tops the old school titles

Also MM & MMX Collections sold strong too

Hopefully Capcom
