Anyone check on these “influencers” this morning?

Pretty big day for the “issue” they’re most passionate about.

Has there been any reporting on the Supreme Court’s decision on SNAP? I understood KBJ’s decision required a decision from them by 8am Tuesday. Ugh.

An agreement to agree to do a later vote is NOT an enforceable contract so what in the actual hell are Americans getting out of this deal??

Buried inside the deal to reopen government is a provision that would give Senators private right of action to sue for millions in damages over their phone records being analyzed by Jack Smith's team.

New pardons for Trump’s allies involved with his 2020 attempted coup. I’ve read lawyers explaining he doesn’t hold the power for state charges. Just a power grab? Will they be honored in court anyway? Will we have to wait until they are used? It never stops!

Seriously, for their own good, Dems who voted for this need to not be saying “we did a good thing, this is why.”

The line needs to be “we fought like hell to get healthcare back, but Donald Trump was willing to burn the country to the ground.”
Durbin said critics of his vote “need to understand how the Senate works”

I truly don’t know how you look at the past week and THEN decide THIS is an appropriate — let alone the right — response.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Most importantly, they were human beings.

And they were murdered.
