This is the best news I've heard all day. Hoping it's more than for just for a few shows. I like Jenny Lewis' solo work OK and she's explored a ton of styles but have missed this band!

This is ghoulish behavior.
The new "Helene recovery" bill Republicans are passing this week in the NC legislature spends $0 new dollars on Western North Carolina.

WNC residents are crying out for assistance, but Republican leaders are more focused on a political power-grab:

GPT 4o sounds just like Scarlett Johansson in "Her." It can protest all it wants but it's pretty transparent.

My main resolution for 2024 is to rid my house of all Micro USB cables and devices. The UE Wonderboom speaker now in version 3 of its lifecycle inexplicably still uses Micro USB. A couple of charging batteries are also holdouts.

And you're next, Lightning.

Note that there are weirdly no 50/50 states where Republicans have to run a years long gauntlet of consecutive against-the-odds victories in order to have a chance at having even a little power.
Democrats retaking North Carolina's Supreme Court is the only realistic way they can end Republican gerrymandering.

The GOP gained a 5-2 majority in 2022, & Dems must win 4 of 5 court races between 2024-2028 to retake it.

Dems also must win for governor in 2024 to block potential GOP court-packing
The field is set for a crucial race for the NC Supreme Court. Appointed Justice Allison Riggs faces Superior Court Judge Lora Cubbage in March Democratic primary, while Court of Appeals Judge Jefferson Griffin has GOP side to himself.
