We saw Wake Up Dead Man in the theater last night and really liked it. Hoping @rianjohnson.bsky.social has plans for another in-theater commentary, like the original Knives Out. (Not to, like, give him work.)

We've settled in to doing three Advent calendars each year - a puzzle one (this year - Exit the Game The Intergalactic Race), a food one (this year - Bonne Maman), and a crappy knock-off one. Last year we had 24 days of cheap halloween toys. This year it's "Classic Broadway Shows". (1/n)

I spoke w/local food bank to ask what they needed to most as far as donations, and they requested cash instead of food donations as they can purchase what they need at a deep discount/wholesale rate. Just an FYI in case you were going to purchase food to donate vs. donating from your own shelves.
