"He was bad for our country".
Really? In what way? Through the decades of entertainment, tears, fears and laughter he gave us? Maybe it was through all the jobs he created with every film he made. Maybe it was through all human rights he promoted.
Yeah, what an asshole. 🙄

can slop help real media? THE ECONOMIST suggests as much: “If social-media sites become congested with slop, either those platforms will have to get serious about content moderation or else their users will shut them off. A case, then, for sloptimism?”

This is getting stupid now.

We're at the point where Labour acknowledge both the damage caused by Brexit AND that rejoining the Customs Union (more accurately, joining A Customs Union) would boost growth.

And yet they still reinforce their red lines.

See what’s being done here? Deflection, conflation, false equivalence+a warning to #BBC not to challenge too much. Those cited have apologised. #NigelFarage has not. He and his deputy have doubled down, attacked+tried to turn the tables. Totally legitimate to challenge that approach+Reform policies.

I received a "Critical Account Security Alert" from "Apple."

It purports that someone tried to charge $143.95 to my account and wants me to log-in with my password.

A quick Google search revealed that "$143.95" has been charged to THOUSANDS of Apple accounts.

I hate being scammed by the lazy.

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.

They are airing ICE recruitment ads, the CEO has been investing in military/AI tech, they barely pay their artists; sometimes a percentage of a cent per stream, they promote “fake/AI artist” playlists, and there’s major concerns about data use.
