I had the good fortune to speak to Jeremy Greer on multiple occasions, and it was always a delight. I saw somebody characterize this habit of the article as, to paraphrase, "tripping over themself to defend BDSM," which is almost an offensive misreading
what's wild is one of the things that stuck out to me in the vulture article was how the author pointed out some of the things gaiman could've done to establish a safe, consensual bdsm relationship and how he did none of them! the article is literally called there is no safe word!
what this shit is not so subtly implying that consenting to BDSM is already consenting to horrors, so what did you expect to then have your consent violated? it’s literally just victim blaming
