I'm rewatching Game of Thrones (currently in S4) & it's making me very nostalgic for waiting for a tv episode, getting together with friends to watch it, hours reading reviews after, everyone talking about it. It wasn't that long ago, streaming was already a thing; what made GoT such a phenomenon?

Unbelievable that Labour are just so nakedly chasing Farage's agenda, now cracking down on ILR. Maybe they just *really* need to convince the public that Farage is substantially correct about every single issue he talks about, maybe then, finally, the public will agree that they ought vote Labour.
Just fuck off with this. How about start the conversation by highlighting how much immigrants contribute to the UK - not least by propping up the NHS and social care system!
Also - forced volunteering is not volunteering, it's unpaid labour.
