Disappointing to see even Sen.Whitehouse doesn’t get how this failure demands a different response than the same tired, centrist placating. The call to action should be to get in line or get out of the way

Does it seem like the geriatric boomer cluelessness of these electeds is a bit of the problem? They seem to be out of touch to the extreme.

I wish we could see some younger leadership take over.

Thanks for getting it

Important to understand this. There's a reasonable chance that your Dem Senator who voted against it and is acting mad now was in on the play. It's the same reason why they scheduled the surrender for AFTER the election this week. They didn't want people pissed at Dems right before an election.
The caucus meeting was just to orchestrate who would fall on the sword but not be up for a vote in 2026.

TFOO (acronym is acronbyming.) Gotta go fate of ophelia for this one. I think I'm doing this for my future self because I know tfoo is going become a top tier favorite for me

yeah, of whatever, BUT PLEASE DON'T CAVE AND END THE SHUT DOWN WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT

and also, please understand that big corps like walmart absolutely want the shut down to end to. It's a scam bsky.app/profile/park...
Just a reminder that Walmart scams more than $2 billion off the American taxpayer every single month because of SNAP. If you think mega corporations are not the true welfare queens, think again.

42 million hungry Americans are a product of a system where big biz grifts and GOP blame the poor.

Right now she needs to not vote with the dem cavers and the gop to give in and reopen the gov.
November 10, 2025 at 1:44 AM
Same here. But my group is panicking about trying to call the dem senators to not cave to voting w/ the gop to reopen the gov. So I guess I'm good with it. (I know that sound counterintuitive but we're all going to loose ACA health care if we don't keep the pressure on.)

sorry for politics

Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Oh yeah. I know all about that.

Beautiful perspective. The way you describe meaning as bubbling up rather than descending reminds me of how neural networks stretch and rearrange synapses to encode information.

Fine. Make a good point.

Alright. Ally @cowboylikeally.swifties.social gave me track 10. It was kinda tough because I apparently like track 9’s or 11’s more frequently.

Here’s my picks!

Reply and I’ll give you a track number! [f(X)=all real integers, domain (1,~50)]
