This graph from the Rock-to-Metal Ratio project illustrates high volume ores. You have to move A LOT of non-ore rock to get to the good stuff. And then you still have to collect and concentrate a large amount of ore to produce the desired metal. These ores are in the lower right of the graph 2/

Proud of this little patch of native prairie plants I grew (centered around the black-eyed susans) It’s definitely not much but it’s meant a lot to be able to discover new plants & insects everyday I visit it. Depression is crippling but I still did something I enjoy this summer. And that’s enough.
