Given her name recognition she’d do well statewide, but maybe there’s something about her home district worth fighting for.

I think she has been a phenomenal public servant for the many decades I’ve been following her. Whatever she chooses to do, I would be in full support. She is a star and an asset.

Grassy ledges were replaced by tightly-packed rows of uncomfortable bleachers. Claimed "head-to-toe" sight lines of an elevated stage? Judge for yourself. 👇 And an overlook with a railing necessitated by the stage, will obstruct views of the Channel — the original objective. bsky.app/profile/fort...
In an 11th hour decision, tightly-packed rows of uncomfortable bleachers replaced long-planned grassy ledges of tiered seating at 244-288 A St.
Letters to the Conservation Commission now falsely claim the bleachers offer "head-to-toe sight lines" of the stage.
Hucksterism.

It's a crowded field already, but she absolutely dwarfs everyone else in terms of name recognition and she was a very popular mayor in Salem.

Her contributions in Oct 2025 more than doubled by comparison with Sept 2025, and nearly doubled by comparison with Oct 2024. Healey saw a spike in Oct 2025 but not close by comparison.

As I mentioned, not one of those venues besides Lawn on D could host private events. At least not without an unusual permit (that I'm not aware of) and a major battle with public space advocates including me.
