Reading comments on any homelessness related city council item makes me want to cry with how much empathy some people, primaryly those with money, completly lack. And how they are just making it worse by demanding we waste money on police removing them. It's fucked and I feel sick

I think I calculated this right but If the gridded part of Sacramento had its street widths cut in half and was condensed it could fit another 40 or so blocks in the same area. Street width can do a lot for walkablity and density beyond just how it feels in the specific location on foot
